Supplier Code of Conduct

1. INDUCTION

PMI Global is dedicated to implementing policies that enhance the quality of life for all employee throughout the supply chain and contribute to environmental preservation. The Ethical Sourcing Code is one of these documents that was created and it outlines the requirements suppliers must meet in order to do business with PMI Global.

In addition to implementing best practices to reduce our environmental impact, PMI Global requires all of its suppliers to adhere to the essential social, business integrity, and environmental sustainability criteria outlined in this policy. In order to support the welfare of society and the environment, PMI Global requires its suppliers to regularly assess these standards, ensure conformance, and improve upon metrics.

2. Social Interes

PMI strongly recommend to all Supplier partners to familiarize themselves with this Code of conduct to ensure successful working relations with PMI Global .PMI Global expects its Suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, in accordance with the principles of the National Labor law & if possible UN Global Compact and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights also.

Our assembly shop has been awarded 'Green Channel' and for the last three years, assemblies made by us are self-certified (and not inspected by the customer) and quality score has been 100/100 so far.

No Child Labor

Suppliers must ensure that they do not employ individuals below the age of 18 years, or as per the minimum age for work as defined by applicable law (whichever is higher). Additionally, suppliers must ensure that these individuals are not exposed to harmful or dangerous tasks that would deprive them of the opportunity to attend school.”

Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination

Suppliers must treat their employees with dignity and respect. There should be no discrimination in hiring and employment practices based on criteria such as gender, race, religion, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, or citizenship.

Fair Wages and Benefits

Suppliers must ensure that workers are paid minimum wages as per local laws, minimum living wages, or industry benchmark rates, whichever is highest. This includes overtime pay and additional benefits. The legally binding employee contract should be adhered to. Suppliers must not use any bonded or forced labor, slavery, or human trafficking.

Maximum Working Hours

Suppliers are responsible for making sure that all applicable laws, including those governing overtime compensation and rest times, as well as restrictions related to maximum working hours, such as the ILO Conventions, are followed. It is essential for all Suppliers to guarantee that their working hours do not exceed the standard hours ( 48 Hrs) per week and, in any event, 8 hours per day.

Safe and Healthy Working Condition

In accordance with all relevant rules and regulations, suppliers are required to provide a safe and healthy working environment. It is important to take the necessary precautions to avoid workplace accidents and health injuries. The workplace should have the necessities, like adequate emergency exits, ventilation, the suitable temperature, clean & hygienic drinking water, sanitized working condition.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

Suppliers must recognize that all workers and employees have the freedom to associate and the right to collective bargaining. Under no circumstances should they be harassed or intimidated in exercising their right to join any organization

Engage and Protect Local Communities

Suppliers can promote their involvement by giving local communities and indigenous people jobs in addition to goods and services, . In addition, the local population's legal rights—such as but not limited to their land rights—should be safeguarded.

Disciplinary Practices

Suppliers must not use or threaten to use corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion as a form of discipline. All workers must be treated with dignity and respect. Suppliers must ensure workers have access to proper remedial and grievance redressal mechanism in place.

3. Business Ethics

PMI Global maintained Fair and transparent business practices, with honesty, integrity, high moral and ethical standards, and respect for human rights. High ethical standards are critical for healthy business relationships, according to PMI Global. When doing business, PMI Global expects its suppliers to adhere to this commitment.

Conflict of interest

Suppliers must disclose to us any conflicts of interest in any commercial interactions with PMI Global that they are aware , In order for us to take the necessary action. If a consultant or employee of PMI Global under contract has a substantial ownership or interest in a supplier's firm, such conflict of interest should be declared.

Bribery, corruption, gifts and donations

Suppliers are strictly prohibited from accepting or offering any illegal payments, gifts, bribes, donations, or other inappropriate advantages in order to secure unethical favors for the company in any commercial transactions with PMI Global or elsewhere. Suppliers are required to make every effort to eradicate all types of corruption and bribery and to make sure that no action is taken in violation of any applicable anti-bribery or anti-corruption laws and regulations in the areas where they conduct business.

Confidentiality

Suppliers are required to maintain the privacy, security, and integrity of PMI Global's trade secrets, intellectual property, and other sensitive, private, and confidential information at all times. They also promise not to reveal it. Only the intended and designated use of the information supplied by PMI Global, as determined and agreed upon by PMI Global and the supplier, is permitted

Financial Records, Money Laundering

Suppliers must ensure that all business and commercial dealings are transparently performed and accurately recorded in the supplier’s books and records. There should be no actual or attempted participation in money laundering.

Compliance with Laws

Suppliers have responsibility for making sure that all regulations and laws in the nations where they conduct business are followed. It is necessary to follow by all other applicable international rules and regulations, such as those related to data protection, anti-trust and competition regulations, international trade (including export controls, sanctions, and reporting requirements), and sanctions.

Anti-competitive and restrictive trade practices

Suppliers must comply with applicable local and international laws to promote free and fair competition and to get business by offering competitive prices and innovative products.

Competition and Competitor Information

It is the suppliers' responsibility to make sure that any competitor data about PMI Global is obtained lawfully and used only for lawful purposes in compliance with all relevant antitrust laws and regulations. Suppliers must ensure that PMI Global is never contacted about any data that is private or not widely known regarding their competitors.

Financial Fraud

Suppliers must be committed to preventing, detecting, and reporting fraud, including fraudulent financial reporting and to maintaining a control environment that mitigates any risk of fraud.

Fair competition

Suppliers must be committed to a fair and competitive free market system. While companies may compete vigorously in their many business activities, the efforts of a supplier's employees in the marketplace must be conducted in accordance with the letter and in the spirit of all applicable antitrust, competition and trade practice laws. Integrity issues, including potential issues related to bribery and corruption. Such systems shall include means for employees to raise compliance concerns in a confidential way and without fear of retaliation.

4. Environmental Sustainability

Environmental management principles at manufacturing plants

· Suppliers must observe the following environmental management principles at their manufacturing plants

· Use management plans to meet environmental compliance obligations and mitigate impacts on the environment

· Monitor operational sites owned, leased, managed in, or adjacent to, protected areas and areas of high conservation value to manage impacts on biodiversity

· Emissions – PMI Global recommends the following steps to its suppliers to curb emissions from their units

· Reducing carbon emission and water intake – PMI Global suggests that its suppliers identify sources of carbon emission and make progressive efforts towards reducing carbon emissions. Opportunities for reduction in water usage should be identified and measures for water conservation should be implemented

· Renewable energy – PMI Global recommends its suppliers to use renewable sources of energy wherever possible to become more energy efficient and energy independent. The suppliers should take steps to identify the scope of replacing conventional sources of energy with sustainable and renewable sources in their operations.

· Emissions to air, boundary noise and effluent discharge should meet applicable local laws

· Efficient systems and process - Suppliers should strive towards enhancing the efficiency and performance of the equipment and processes by continual improvement, monitoring and assessment of technology. Good practices should be followed to ensure environmental resources are valued and protected.

· Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – PMI Global recommends the following steps to its suppliers to reduce waste, reuse, and recycle:

· Zero Waste to landfill — Waste to landfill should be analyzed and suppliers should try and set targets to reduce the quantity of disposal to landfills. Alternate waste disposal techniques should be adopted in order to reduce the impact on the environment

· Responsible consumption of resources — PMI Global recommends its suppliers to minimize use of all resources, including raw material, in their processes. The supplier should look for opportunities to reduce resource consumption by improving efficiency, investing in advanced technology, reusing material by innovating products and processes. The supplier should minimize dependence on scarce natural resource by identifying and using appropriate replacements

· Packaging material - Suppliers should try to take steps to reduce the environmental impact of packaging material by developing innovative, practical solutions to modify the design and disposal method to the best possible extent.

· Adopting Green Initiatives and Practices - To monitor the environmental performance and to become environment friendly, practices to monitor and minimize environmental impact should be imbibed in organization’s processes. PMI Global recommends that its suppliers inculcate such practices in their operations and start new initiatives to reduce their impact on the environment.

5. Quality

“Quality “is the most important tool for PMI Global. PMI Global expects that all its vendors / suppliers ensure and adhere to the quality management system and their products and manufacturing facilities are as per the standards. As per standard Supplier had to maintain it’s PPM below 1000. And on timely basis should be get review with Purchaser .

Quality Management System

PMI Global expects its suppliers to follow quality objectives and policies thoroughly and should certified by the authority like ISO 9001:2015

The suppliers should ensure about the rules and regulations of the local authority, proper product knowledge and training to the staff and the internal reviews, feedback on the Quality Management System for its timely improvement.

Facility & Material Management

PMI Global expects its suppliers to focus on proper installation of equipment with zero error and the timely maintenance of all the equipment as well as facilities. Also, PMI Global expects that its suppliers to have housekeeping staff to maintain the hygiene all the time and to arrange pest control over the time for safety and security of its staff. PMI Global expects that its suppliers have enough place or warehousing capacity for the storage of manufacturing goods. They should have proper or the updated techniques/ mechanism for carry the material and its transportation.

Manufacturing Goods

PMI Global expects that its suppliers are very well established while their process of manufacturing and packaging and complete their order not only in time but also with thorough quality. They should have proper records of order placed and production.

6. Implementation for Guidance

To ensure compliance with all the topics of this policy, the Supplier should:

• Formulate policies

• Define and assign roles and responsibilities

Implement procedures

• Communicate on these standards to employees and relevant third parties

Provide sufficient training to its employees and subcontractors

• Monitor the compliance to the policies and procedures

Implement corrective actions

• Report on its progress on these topics.

7. Monitor Compliance to Code of Conduct

PMI Global expects all suppliers to implement management systems that allow the compliance with this Sustainable Sourcing Policy. The Supplier should communicate the provisions in this policy to its own suppliers and is expected to initiate, maintain and verify a process of continuous improvement towards sustainable practices in the entire upstream supply chain, in line with the requirements and principles set forth in this document. To facilitate the monitoring of suppliers’ compliance with this Code of Conduct, PMI Global expects suppliers to:-

Develop and maintain all necessary documentation to support compliance with the described standards; such documentation must be accurate and complete.

Provide PMI Global’s representatives with access to relevant records, upon PMI Global’s request.

• Allow PMI Global to carry out audits in accordance with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001:2015, ( where ever is applicable )

• Allow PMI Global representatives to visit supplier locations to conduct site visits as per decided schedule.

• In regards to the application of the Code of Conduct, quickly answer reasonable questions from PMI Global's representatives.

• PMI Global promotes and supports individuals who report real or suspected breaches without fear of reprisal. Any violation of this policy that the supplier knew about—including any infraction committed by one of our team members or by someone working on our behalf—should have been notified to PMI Global right away.

• If a non-conformity is reported, PMI Global will look into it and discuss the results with the supplier. In the event that a supplier violates this policy, PMI Global will take the necessary measures to resolve the issue

8. Acknowledgement & Acceptance of Supplier code of Conduct

I hereby certify that I have read the attached Supplier's Code of Conduct in every detail. I therefore commit myself and my business to maintain this Supplier's Code of Conduct and to completely adhere to all of its values, having studied and understood all of its requirements. In addition, I certify that the company has given me authority to sign and accept this form on its behalf.
